Ultimately, convexity hedging is about refining your precision. By moving beyond the duration-only approach, you protect your clients from the ‘hidden’ volatility that often surprises portfolios during periods of rapid interest rate adjustment. Remember, successful portfolio management in the SIF space is not just about choosing the right strategy, but about proactively identifying and neutralizing the mathematical biases that can erode value over time.
